We know that students come to new learning with preconceptions. Their understanding of the world around them needs to be engaged, otherwise motivation may be low, and they may fail to understand new concepts or internalize them. For many undergraduates in college, the content from these modules will be their first experience with ethics. This module will help faculty, and their students, sort out their worldview and consider the value systems they have constructed for themselves.
